Hai privacy
What Hai keeps when you decide about a site's cookies, what for, where and for how long.
In force since 26 October 2026.
1. Who is responsible
The site you visit is the controller of your data: it decides which cookies it uses and what for. NUEVAUNO LLC provides Hai to that site and processes your decision on its behalf, only to show you the notice and keep the proof.
2. What Hai keeps of your decision
- A random identifier of your browser for that site, which does not say who you are.
- The date and time.
- What you decided: accept all, reject all or choose, and which categories stayed on.
- The version of the notice you saw, with a copy of its texts.
- The site and the page (without what follows «?» or «#»), the language and the approximate country of the connection.
3. What it does not keep
Your IP address, your name, your email, a fingerprint of your browser or what you do on the site. Hai does not follow you across sites: each site has its own identifier.
4. Hai's cookie
Just one, hai_consent, on the domain of the site you visit: it keeps your decision so you are not asked on every page. It lasts 6 months and is strictly necessary. Hai sets no third-party cookies.
5. What for
- So the site can prove it asked for your permission and what you answered, as the law requires (GDPR, art. 7(1); Chilean Law 19.628 as amended by Law 21.719, art. 12; LGPD, art. 8 §2).
- To count how many times the notice was loaded and shown, with no identifier of yours.
6. Where
On Cloudflare's infrastructure, which processes the data on NUEVAUNO's behalf: your decision, in the database of the company that owns the site; the counts, in Cloudflare Analytics Engine.
7. For how long
- Your decision: 3 years, so the site can answer for it; then it is deleted.
- The counts: 3 months.
- The hai_consent cookie in your browser: 6 months. Then the notice asks you again, and sooner if the site adds a category.
8. Your rights
- Change or withdraw your decision whenever you want with the site's «Cookies» button: it takes the same as giving it.
- To see, correct or delete your data, or to object, write to the site. If you do not know whom to ask, write to hola@nuevauno.com and we will pass it on.
- You can complain to the data protection authority of your country: in Chile, the Agencia de Protección de Datos Personales; in Brazil, the ANPD; in the European Union, your country's.
