Hai: NUEVAUNO's cookie notice
It asks for permission before using cookies that are not necessary, keeps each decision as proof and lets visitors change it with one click.
What it does
- It shows a notice with «Accept all» and «Reject all» equally visible, and «Choose» to decide by category.
- It keeps analytics, advertising and preference scripts from running until the visitor accepts them, and tells Google through its consent mode.
- It keeps each decision as proof in the database of the company that owns the site, with the version of the notice that was seen.
- It asks again after 6 months, or sooner if the site adds a category.
- Visitors change their decision whenever they want, with the «Cookies» button.
How it is used
It is installed from Apps in NUEVAUNO. On your NUEVAUNO Website it shows by itself. On another site, you paste one line in the <head> of every page and add the site in Settings → Hai; on any site not on that list, the notice does nothing.
What the law asks
- European Union: consent before storing or reading anything on the visitor's device, except what is strictly necessary (Directive 2002/58/EC, art. 5(3)); being able to prove it and withdrawing it as easily as it was given (GDPR, art. 7(1) and 7(3)); no pre-ticked boxes (GDPR, recital 32; CJEU, Planet49, C-673/17).
- Chile: from 1 December 2026, prior, free, specific, unambiguous and informed consent, revocable by an equivalent means, with the burden of proof on whoever processes the data (Law 19.628 as amended by Law 21.719, art. 2(p) and art. 12).
- Brazil: free, informed and unambiguous consent, revocable at any time, with the burden of proof on whoever asks for it (LGPD, art. 5 XII and art. 8 §2 and §5).
Hai is a tool, not legal advice: each site answers for the cookies it uses and declares them.
